C* AmpVTS - Tube amp + Tone stack | The CAPS ampVTS is a digital guitar amplifier that is designed to feel and respond like a real tube amplifier. The tonestack is switchable and offers a more versatile amplifier. The tonestacks are based on classic tube amplifiers. |
MDA Combo | This plug-in can sound quite subtle but comes alive when used on guitar with the drive turned up! Remember that distortion may not sound good on time-based effects such as delay and reverb, so put those effects after this plug, or after a separate distortion plug with Combo acting only as a speaker simulator. |
GxAlembic | The Alembic is inspired by the Alembic F-2B© studio preamp (*).
The Alembic appeared in the late 60’s and was inspired by the circuit on the Fender Dual Showman© (*) amps, which were known for their deep and clean powerful tone. This legend featured a 12AX7 tube in each section and was widely used for both bass and guitar. |
Gx Studio Preamp Stereo | The Alembic is inspired by the Alembic F-2B© studio preamp (*).
The Alembic appeared in the late 60’s and was inspired by the circuit on the Fender Dual Showman© (*) amps, which were known for their deep and clean powerful tone. This legend featured a 12AX7 tube in each section and was widely used for both bass and guitar. |
GxAmplifier-X | The GxAmplifier-X is a do-it-all amplifier simulator based on some of the most famous tube amplifiers such as Fender, Mesa, Soldano, Vox and Marshall models. The ability to switch preamp and power amp tubes makes it an even more versatile amp. The built-in cabinet simulation eliminates the need of an additional cabinet simulator. Whether you are looking for a Fenderish sound, or a metal sound straight out of the eighties, the Gx-Amplifier-X will fulfill all your needs. |
GxAmplifier Stereo | Stereo version of the GxAmplifier-X |
GxJCM800pre | Emulation of the classic Marshall JCM800 preamp (*) |
GxJCM800pre ST | Emulation of the classic Marshall JCM800 preamp (*) |
GxSupersonic | The GxSuperSonic is a guitar tube amplifier simulator plugin based on the Rickenbacker M-16 Supersonic® (*).The Supersonic was produced in the 1960s as an answer to Fender’s popular Bassman® (*) amplifiers and was used by artists such as Jim Reeves. This is the perfect amplifier plugin for powerful clean tones, but the input gain can be pushed to get access to some smooth and creamy overdrive tones as well. While the original is a combo amplifier, this plugin does not emulate the speaker cabinet. To complete the signal chain, it is recommended to combine this plugin with the MOD Vintage Cabinets plugin. |
GxSVT | Tube based bass pre-amp simulation |
GxUltraCab | A cabinet simulator plugin which simulate as well the non-linear response of the cabinet. |
GxUVox720k | Analog simulation of the UniVox (*) 720k solid state amp as LV2 plugin. |
GxVBassPreAmp | Analog Simulation of the 1984 (*) Vox Venue Bass 100 Pre Amp Section. |
GxVMK2 | Analogue simulation impressed by the Vox (*) MkII Conqueror Preamp. |
Onyx | Onyx is a digital modeling of a real custom-made tube amplifier with three channels combined and separate pre and power amps. The Onyx offers control over a vast landscape of sounds: the gain knob, in combination with the clipping stage, creates unique distortions that range from sparkly clean all the way to modern metal. Tweak the character knob to alter the voice of the amplifier from warm to bright. |
Rambler | The Rambler amplifier is engineered to model a real analogue tube amplifier from the 1960s with the main focus on the rich sound harmonics that era brought.
The Rambler features a tonestack model of the London City DEA 130(*). The amplifier has 3 channels, which allows for a vast range of sounds, from a light drive to full-on distortion. The non-linear gain stage is modelled after the curve of a modified tube amplifier to add more distortion than originally possible with a smart oversampling algorithm to only generate the desired harmonics. |
GxRedeye Vibro Chump | The Vibro Chump is a guitar-amp simulator, inspired by vintage Fender amplifiers. In similar fashion to the original amplifiers from that brand and era, the Vibro Chump sports a "Vibrato" control, which does not actually pitch-shift the sound, but instead, sounds like a really warm tremolo.
Does not include cabinet simulation, best used in conjunction with the GxCabinet plugin. |
Titan | The Titan is a modern dual channel guitar amplifier that delivers a wide spectrum of sounds, ranging from crystal clear cleans to crunchy rhythm tones, and all the way up to punches of a real high gain monster.
There is an internal noise gate that helps tighten up the sound, which can be enabled from the parameters menu. The lead channel has a boost and a bright switch. The latter removes some low end for an even tighter modern metal tone. Each gain stage of the titan has been hand built and tested in an analog counterpart, before being carefully modeled in the digital domain. This clever combination of mathematics and signal processing leads to a very responsive and dynamic sounding amplifier. |
C* ToneStack - Tone stack emulation | This emulation of the tone stack of a traditional Fender-design instrument amplifier has been devised and implemented by David T. Yeh, with subsequent expansion to include more models by Tim Goetze.
Due to the nature of the original circuit, the bass, mid and treble controls are not operating independently as in a modern three-way equaliser. All but the last model are using the procedural implementation with continuously updated direct form II filters and sample rate independency. It must be noted that the "DC 30" preset has been included despite the slight difference in topology between the British original and the Fender circuit. The "5F6-A LT" model is using the lattice filter implementation mentioned in [yeh06], operating on precomputed simulation data for 44.1 kHz. |
TAP Tubewarmth | TubeWarmth adds the character of vacuum tube amplification to your audio tracks by emulating the sonically desirable nonlinear characteristics of triodes. In addition, this plugin also supports emulating analog tape saturation. |
